Our Pitch

 Main- A magic bracelet grants three wishes, it is delivered in the mail to a boy, the boy is givin it and without thinking or knowing anything accidentally wishes and causes confusion, next he does his research and finds out about the bracelet and its capabilities and wishes for an upgrade in life, but as the third wish is rolling around, something happens.


Backup- A lady grows up with a not so normal childhood but has an opportunity to change everything and goes crazy in the process.


I am very interested in the main pitch because I thought it would be very cool and fun to make. I already have so many ideas following around about it. I have just about all the help that I need and I have just about the whole thing planned out. I would be through the roof to be able to film this. My group also really liked this idea too.

I would be interested in filming the backup pitch because it can make a very cool story. Something that I learned through every project is that we need to tell a story. A lady gets a chance to rewrite her story would be very fun. So this backup idea also has my high interests.

My group chose to go with the main pitch because it feels like there more to make out of it, I was also able to give most of the scenes so most of it is already planned out.

Production Blog- Acquiring the Goodies

 A street racing film wouldn’t be complete without the right cars. The vehicles we choose will bring personality to each race and help tell the story of our main character’s growth. Finding the right cars wasn’t easy, but we made sure to pick ones that fit the look and feel of real underground racing. We wanted a mix of speed, style, and realism to make every scene feel authentic. For the young racer, we won’t be using a real car just yet. Instead, we’re borrowing my friend’s racing simulator, which will show the character’s first experience behind the wheel. This setup works perfectly because it represents his early dreams and passion for racing before he ever gets on the streets. For the teen racer, we’re going all out with real street racing action. My close friend’s Mustang will go head-to-head with another friend’s Dodge Daytona Charger, setting up an intense and visually exciting race. Production Blog: First Day Filming

 The scene begins with a blurry shot of the house that slowly comes into focus. The warm evening light makes the place look cozy and welcoming. Then, we cut to a young boy playing a racing game on his phone, completely focused on the screen. You can see the excitement on his face as he tries to win. Next, we switch to a shot over his shoulder, showing the phone in his hands. The sounds from the game mix with his little gasps of joy and frustration. Suddenly, his mom comes into the frame, gently approaching him from behind. She leans down and softly tells him it’s time for bed. We had some problems while filming this scene. The young actor, while eager, wasn’t very experienced. He kept looking right at the camera, which broke the mood. Plus, both he and his mom spoke too fast, making it hard to feel the emotions we wanted. Adding to the trouble, our Lumix GH6 camera kept blurring because of autofocus issues. Each time it blurred, we had to pause and start over, which slowed us down....
