Production blog: Peer review and tweaks

 As part of our filmmaking process, we engaged in peer review sessions where fellow filmmakers provided valuable feedback on our work.During these sessions, some reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with certain shots, particularly in regards to blending and coloring. Constructive criticism highlighted areas where our editing choices may have detracted from the overall visual cohesion of the film.Specific comments focused on inconsistencies in color grading, with some shots appearing overly saturated or mismatched with surrounding footage. Additionally, concerns were raised about the blending of certain scenes, where transitions between shots felt abrupt or disjointed. Recognizing the importance of incorporating feedback, we carefully considered each recommendation in our subsequent editing sessions. We revisited the problematic shots, experimenting with different color grading techniques to achieve a more harmonious visual aesthetic. Adjustments were made to saturation levels, hues, and contrast to ensure a cohesive look across all scenes. Similarly, we reevaluated the blending of shots, refining transitions to create smoother segues between scenes.
