Scripting, Filming, and Assembly

I have now got the permission to make my skit, I am very excited for this. As I get further through this blog, it will be as I progress in the order of the title. First is the scripting, I want to have some conversation with myself. I am coming up with simple short questions that I can ask myself. I cam up with something very simple, Hi, introduce yourself, and hobbies. For the filming, I have decided to fil on my balcony because it is very nice and has a very enjoyable background. So as this is being typed is the timeframe of my filming. I have made the set and propped my phone on the tripod, and have recorded one take. The cars placing by below are making a lot of noise and I am looking for the phone setting that can reduce background noise picked up in the microphone. Now I have made a few takes and responded to the questions I am going to edit in later. I was filming and the air conditioning unit made a huge disturbance of noise. The filming is done and now it is time for the voice over and cuts along with the other clips I need to add. I have now finished the voiceover and the timeframes are perfect! However the microphone is really close to my mouth so thank you Capcut for having being able to adjust that volume of recorded audio. Im super proud of myself now because I found the setting that was in Capcut that reduces background noise so now the clips are great. I have also split the clips to add myself in the gym, one of the videos has me grunting while lifting and I think this will add some good humor. I have also put in the overlay for other pictures while I speak and it is kind of what I had pictures in my head. I also added the background music and I found the one I was exactly thinking about. So the general video has now been completed and most of the edits are now complete. Overall, the filming only took around 15 minutes which is less than I thought and it turned out good. I ended up changing a few key components that I wanted for this though. Last blog I said how I wanted to have More interaction and add some sarcasm to the skit but that never ended up happening. Nevertheless, this skit turned out really good and the music flowed really well with it just how i pictured.

This is a little preview of the video.
