My reflection
At the end, my commercial has now been submitted and I have not received any review or opinions of my project. After I showed the commercial to my friends and peers, I received a lot of the same responses. The most common response was the voice was to low, I highly agree with that however I could not make it any louder and I will need to find a way to improve. My timing was very on point as the commercial was 53 seconds which for everything was very good. Other critiques could be the way I look at the camera, voice projecting, and attitude in the skit/acting skill. For the next time, I need to do what i can to look more alive. I also need to make more contact with the camera as I looked away for a good amount of the skit. The purpose of the skit was to have an interview and I would give the succession of that a 6.5/10. Along with side notes is the voice projection, for every skit from now on I will do as much as I can to make my voice loud and clear for the video. My acting was also not the best, honestly I forgot a lot of the skit and I had to freestyle some of the answers. I knew majority of what I wanted to ask and answer and I had to fit in the questions. I think I can be more confident and have time stamps down so I can make the video's timing more clear. Some acting skills I can also utilize is expressions and attitude, this would be how my face responds to the questions and something simple like looking around surroundings. I wanted to add more conversation between the skit but there really was just not a lot of time to do so. After the filming, looking at the final clip, it was already up past a minute. I had to cut stuff out to shorten just the template video and still needed to make room for the other clips, the ones in the gym. The choice of music was something I heard before but I just could not remember where I heard it, I figured out that it was from some video game and I found it very fast. The timing of the music ended up being perfect, by accident certain beats of the song fit so well with the clips. I also felt that I could of blended the voiceover a little better, blocking out and isolating the voice better and blending it better with the video. So that all I have to say for my reflection, that all the critiques to improve on, and the opinions I received.
