Doing the Edits

     Once I have all of my clips and pictures visually put selected and put together it is then time to edit and tweak them to perfection. To get the clips together, there will need to script writing, making something to impact ones' emotions. From this, it will also be making a story, something to represent whatever point or narrative the commercial is supposed to meet. Casting also plays a role in this, depending on the narrative, I can do it on my own or with others. Of course I will need to go location scouting followed by the filming. The filming will consist of multiple shots and takes. Now to the editing, y editing will consist with visual tweaks such as lighting effects. This could be the saturation and vibrance adjustment or detail boosts or maybe both. Of course the goal is to create a visually stunning and emotionally resonant piece. As the editing goes on I need to repeatedly check everything I have done. Everything that I do has to flow to the best it can, especially to the song, I always try to time the clip change to the song beats. Adding to that, sound design and music choice are crucial as it plays a huge part in enhancing emotional impact. Adding to that, I have to mention that I need to revise and clips I make or use that they are in legal compliance. Another thing about editing that I did not mention is smooth transition. When  it comes to filmmaking, there are many ways to change a scene like bridging or dissolving but EVERYTHING NEEDS TO FLOW! During the editing feedback is also key and needs implement. On this, the perfect commercial is in the making and if something is wrong throughout, I cannot be scared to go back to "the planning board". Now I am close to completion, I am on to final review, this will be my final approval of my work before publish. Upon publish I will need to record the data of how I do. I will take others feedback and this leads me to my last last step. What lessons did I learn, I do not believe in 100% perfection, "what did I do wrong, what can fix?", now it is done.
