Choice of clips
So I have found the bare minimum for this commercial and by bare minimum, just everything that is required. For my hobbies, I have chosen exercise and eating however I really want to add sleeping. I am not sure if i can only use the said amount of clips because I really have some great things that I can add to make this commercial great. I have a lot of weight lifting clips, some funny, others impressive however I don't know if I can use all of them. I wanted to base this commercial on a short skit that gives off humor and uses a little bit of sarcasm. The idea I have pictured fits perfectly for this assignment but I just need that upper permission. The clips I have right now are face mainly of me in the gym, pictures are face pictures and foods. A lot of the clips already are edited to the best visual look and the videos will just need to be trimmed to fit the necessary cuts for the flow. If I can get permission to do what I have visioned, it will be a short 30 second skit that introduces me and I will be using a voice over to interview myself and just crop or cut to the pictures and clips when the time fits. I fell like doing the commercial this way will bring a very positive and funny reaction. For this, I will find a background song that is very mellow and childish. By this, I mean something like background music you find in a Childs video game or tv show. I feel like the sarcasm that I would put in the dialog to will also contrast with the nice smooth background music and will make an even funnier commercial. I already know what sound this will be, I just need to find it. Filming this skit will be very simple, I will just setup my tripod and write my own skit. I will be quiet than talk then be quite again and so on. After that is finished, I will put the scripted voice over and make the necessary cuts for my other clips. The only problem is my filming skills, I know what I have pictured, I just don't know how to film it properly. I already have a lot of practice with cap cut and it is very straight foward to understand. I know that this commercial will turn out fantastic.
