Final Edits

So all of the filming has been finished and from the past editing of the easy clips, we have about 45 seconds to put the last three scenes in. After importing all of the clips we and a choice and total of over an hour of clips to fit in. Obviously we cannot use everything we filmed but we can cut down a lot. So Me and Conner decided to do all of our editing over adobe. Everything was so easy and straight forward to navigate the whole thing was so easy. So we next discussed what the most important clips we need are. The most important clips were launching then riding the jetski, next were the beach clips of walking and swimming, and then dinner and the balcony scene. The jetski ended up taking a lot of the time, around 25 seconds. We used a lot of ariel and over head shots along with many tracking shots. While riding the jetski we used a lot of over the shoulder shots and eye level shots. Next we spent about 15 seconds for the cooking and eating scene. This was really easy to film as cooking is easy, we really used a lot of medium close up shots. For the eating clip, we just used a simple wide shot. And finally we spent the last 10 seconds for the balcony scene. This was probably my favorite scene because it had the most perfect establishing shot. The establishing shot was a drone shot of the building and it was so perfect. Next we just used a wide shot of us walking to the balcony. We tried to to a lot of sound bridging to every beat drop and "whooo" of the song. That ended up working very well as every significant change in clips went well with this. So This wraps it up for the editing, everything worked out very well and it madea solid video.
